I have older fast build ES kit with side latch door system and am just starting to
assemble the door.  Several of you have pointed out to throw the side latch hardware away and get the bottom latch system.  Vern needs $450 for these now....so, is this worth it and if so, does anyone have the bottom latch hardware laying around.

Also, what about reinforcement of the door pillar by the strut.  Any suggestions.
