Some time ago I asked if anyone with older Lancairs had experienced any
corrosion problems and had very few responses. I've been doing a little
surfing this evening and stumbled on the link below for the Rutan Aircraft
Factory, Inc. I don't know the date of the bulletin but it appears to be
within the last year.

Certainly a Lancair isn't a VariEze, but many of the corrosion issues
discussed share comparable construction methods and materials. I suggest
everyone read it, especially if you have an older Lancair that's lived near
the ocean.
