I have a different solution to trim runaway. I have trims on both pilot and
co-pilot sticks. each stick has a trim enable switch that provides a ground
to the trims. All trims are tied to this common ground. I will fly with the
pilot trims enabled. If a trim runs away, I will flip the switch to disable
the pilot trims, then turn on the co-pilot trims. Once the trim is adjusted,
I head for a landing to fix the problem.
