I'm going to try and install my Horizontal Stab very shortly and I'd like to
hear from builders experienced in the use of accurate leveling tools. The
installation of the H. Stab is a pretty critical piece of the whole
constuction project and there is little room for error. I'd like to get it
installed absolutely straight and level.

There are a whole lot of laser levelers available at reasonable cost. Are
these tools as accurate as thay claim to be? I'm thinking they have got to
be easier to use than a water level? Are they? Would a transit be something
I should consider? Any other hints and tips on how to get a perfectly level
installation will also be appreciated.
