Get in touch with Chris Zavatson at christopher.zavatson@udlp.com he has found several different size welding rods that fit better than the standard hinge pins and takes the slop out of even new hinges. It seems the hinges and the pins have a fairly wide tolerance so you can come up with slop in even the new one's. There is a outfit that makes a teflon bushing with a metal pin and I have the add only one problem it is at the hanger I will try and post it tomorrow

My aileron hinges are getting a little loose.  I seem to recall
discussions of oversize pins and / or teflon coated pin material.  The
ACS catalog only lists .089 pin material which I am assuming is the
standard size pin.  I suspect a little oversize would be appropriate.
