It seems the hinges and the pins have a fairly wide tolerance so you can come up with slop in even the new one's. I seem to recall discussions of oversize pins and / or teflon coated pin material. The ACS catalog only lists .089 pin material which I am assuming is the standard size pin. I suspect a little oversize would be appropriate.
