Assuming that you currently have the original, factory design, spring trim system: You need to increase the spring tension to get more adjustment range out of your trim.  You can do this by drilling another hole in the trim push rod and move the cotter pin closer in to provide more spring compression.  I moved my cotter pin in about 3/4 inch and it worked out fine.  Some builders have installed heavier springs to solve the problem but I don't think that is necessary in most cases.  You may need to readjust the trim center position afterward by moving the position of the nylon blocks on the elevator push rod.
