Hi

I installed a set of new over center  springs and noticed that the forward
lip of the spring is scratching against the NC4 plate this is not only
weakening the plate but is creating a real danger of hanging up on it, or
breaking the spring. Is there any way to increase the spacing in this area.

Could one remove some of the ply's asked to remove slop at the aft end of
the NC5 plate and insert a washer over the fwd landing gear leg pin before
inserting the pin into the NC4 plate.

Any ideas PLEASE ?
