I intend to mount my pitot tube in my winglet of my IV-P. The manual
prescribes the use of 1/4" Al tubing from pitot tube to the inboard wing
rib. Unfortunately, That's longer than the standard 12' lengths of tubing
can handle in one piece. A friend is using Nylafow for his pitot tube in
his RV8. Does anyone on the list see a problem with that approach in the
IV? Speed and altitude (temperature) are two major differences in our
application.
