on an insurance association. My first reaction was that it sounded like

I'm having the same second thoughts as Brent. An association sounded good at
the outset but I had not considered the possibility that the insurance
companies could make a mandatory thing out of it. Give them an inch and they
will still take all they can get. <G> I'm changing my response to an
association to a no, probably not. It might be safer to be more proactive on
an individual basis rather than as a group. Continued advanced training on a
yearly basis is a very, very good idea. Maintaining a list of qualified and
willing instructors as well as a suggested curriculum could be a good
resource for the pilots who want to do that on their own.
Thank you for bringing the subject up. This is the sort of ideas that makes
this list so useful!
