Thanks for your response. Do you think it would possible to build a basic IFR equipped Legacy with the advertised empty weight of about 1500 lbs.? Your's is fairly close at 1546. What I don't know is how much or what optional equipment you have installed. I guess my question might be: Do you think you could get your plane down closer to the 1500 lbs mark without ripping out the carpet and seat cushions?
