Q1. What gap size should I have between horizontal stab. and the elevator
outward horn (the one containing the counterweight lead)?
I'm not absolutely sure but I have heard 3/16 inch gap minimum at all possible positions. I have also heard that the leading edge of the counter weight should be rounded off (not square cornered) for aerodynamic and icing considerations. Maybe Carstin is listening will clarify it for us.
