Was reviewing the LML posts and saw several refrences to plumbing the facet fuel pumps. Seems like it was about 50/50 for putting the pumps between the wing tank selector valve outlet (left/off/right) and the header tank in series vs parallel. I'm planning on using the Pillar Point Fuel Controller (hoping they can correct the false wet/dry indications with some averaging or summing of the discrete indications) with only one pump "ON" at a time. Is it better to plumb these two pumps in series (does the "off" pump flow through enough) or parallel (does the "off" pump check the reverse flow)? Are there any redundancy issues that makes one installation safer over the other?
I appreciate any comments.
