My tireless search for the "Gold Coating" for canopies has born fruit.  I
learned from the Shoei Motorcycle Helmet rep. that they use MXL Industries
(Steve Cliff) http://www.mxl-industries.com/pcs.htm for their Gold coated
face shields.  If someone is ready to have their canopy coated and wants to
be the guinea pig now's your chance.  If you wanted to test the coating for
light/heat transmission or durability you could buy a Shoei face shield from
MotorcycleRiderSupply.com (888) 211-5099 and play with it.  There are other
colors too, all have mirror finish, Blue and I think I have seen and Orange
or Red.
