Mark,
I'm also building the Super ES and have an IO-550 motor mount. It is not attatched at present. I am just finishing my wings/ailerons/wingtips, and am about to start jigging the fuselage. I would be happy to take some measurements for you. However, I think I need some clarification, as the firewall is not perpendicular. It would be important to know where on the firewall the measurements were taken. Since my motor mount is uninstalled, I would recommend taking measurements from one of the lower mount attach points. It would be easy to lay a straightedge across the two lower points and measure from there. I'll take some measurements over the weekend and send them to you.

Subject: ES engine mount and strut locations.
I could use some help from a fellow ES builder out there.
I deleted the engine mount from my kit purchase because I
Planed on using an alternate engine on my plane, <SNIP>
