Noticed that some areas of the steel gear box structure, areas that are
visible from the gear doors primarily, and some of the metal control tubes
in my LIVP are showing areas of oxidation.  Presently appear as small
circular 'pocks' of about .125 to .250" in dia.  Currently the avionics are
going in, and the engine will be arriving for installation next week.  The
plane has always been inside during construction.  Has anyone else had this
problem?
