For what it's worth, Rob Wolf's comments, re. the subject are right on. I
have one small quibble (maybe not even a quibble, maybe just an observation)
regarding someone who builds for himself and then later sells the airplane.
If the builder has put, let's say, 200-300 hours on his plane the odds are
that he didn't build it just to sell. Further, a substantial number of
reasonably trouble-free hours on the airframe should alleviate the buyer's
mind as to the quality of the construction. By this time, the airplane and
it's systems are going to be well past the "infant mortality" type failures.
Aside from this small comment, I couldn't agree more with what Rob has said.
