Dave,

I think this is a fantastic idea.  I would prefer that there is absolutely no documentation involved that names names.

Lacar list members can simply announce "open houses" (open hangars?)  and invite all over for a bit of barbeque and kibitzing on the project.

I think I'd fly a few hundred miles on an invite.
