Gentlemen:

Has anyone tested the new fuel valves?   I have heard unconfirmed reports that they still have problems with cross feeding air if one tank is dry and you are burning from the remaining tank.

I also heard that the "new" valve had been sent out for testing by the NTSB following the recent crash in FL. so maybe that will shed some light on things.

Also, if independant testing has not been performed, how would one go about verifying that the sealing properties of the valve are ample to ensure fuel and not air gets into the system?
