My point was --are you certain there was a brake failure? Or could the damage described been the result of the the accident and not the cause. Too many indicators point to the pilot mishandling the landing as the cause of  accident. Reportedly, the right main landing gear had the tire and wheel assembly nearly removed by the accident as well as major damage to the MLG trunnion. I do not know the status of the right MLG damage. My experience with brake failures ususally results in aircraft off the side of the runway, not the end. High speed landings usually result in landing rollouts off the end. You be the judge.
