Alan,

Yep, that's close enough to 1" and 1.5" that I remember and yes, the wider Mylar was used for the rudder.  The seals I used had about a 3/8" wide strip of stickum already on the Mylar - somehow seemed more secure than just the safety tape over the leading edge to hold them on.  The price is about right from what I remember.

Hey Scott,

While we are on the subject of gap seals, I would like to know if you are using the 30mm (ailerons, flaps, elevator) and 38mm (rudder) size mylar curved tapes? I found that Craggy Aero http://www.craggyaero.com/misc.htm offers both the mylar and the 4104 tesa tape with lower minimum qty requirements than some other suppliers I checked. I have never dealt with them so I can't render an opinion on service etc. Your previous archive photos of your tape are extremely useful!
The price from what I see, for a LNC2 would run around $175.00 with postage.

Thanks,

Alan
