Jeff,
another Lancair pilot told me to install a Zener Diode in the power lines of the servo.
Now the servo is slow all the time but still powerful. During landing it does not harm to have a slow servo.
I just don't remember what size of diode, but I can find out later.
It just works fine on my plane! And it's very cheap and simple compared to the other systems!

If you have the ray Allen trim systems do you find that you need to have a dual mode speed on the trim motors ?
Aka Slower speed at higher airspeeds with a faster trim motor speed flying at lower pattern speeds ?
I am trying to decide if I want to just install now instead of later ...
