Jeff,

another Lancair pilot told me to install a Zener Diode in the power =
lines of the servo.
Now the servo is slow all the time but still powerful. During landing it =
does not harm to have a slow servo.
I just don't remember what size of diode, but I can find out later.
It just works fine on my plane! And it's very cheap and simple compared =
to the other systems!
