The Garmin servos put out more torque than the ones that are normally used with the TruTrak autopilots.
Typing and grammar errors courtesy of Siri and the iPhone. I’m planning to redo my IV-P Panel with a G3X system and I’m considering autopilot options. Does anyone have experience with Garmin’s autopilot for the G3X in a IV or IV-P (or IV-PT)? I’m wondering whether the servos have enough torque to properly operate the control surfaces at cruise speeds. Thanks, Jay Phillips
