I have toyed with this idea for several years. There is a company out there (forgot the name) that displayed a system at Oshkosh to adjust trim speed by airspeed. Has also been suggested to adjust trim speed by whether flaps are deployed or not.
The trim is the right speed for takeoff and landing, but too fast for level flight.
What I (and many others) have learned to do is to "blip" the trim. This seems to work OK.
Suggest you wait and fly the plane before you decide D. Brunner

Subject: [LML] LEG2 trim speed
Okay so I am not flying yet so I ask the folks that are flying their Legacies
If you have the ray Allen trim systems do you find that you need to have a dual mode speed on the trim motors ?
Aka Slower speed at higher airspeeds with a faster trim motor speed flying at lower pattern speeds ?
I am trying to decide if I want to just install now instead of later ...
Thanks in advance
Jeff.
