There's a Q&A section in the press release.  I was quite surprised to see how both companies will continue to work independently, Rob will stay and continue to develop products.   They seem to want to use Dynon's clout for purchasing but the products will continue to be separate.  The deal with Tru-trak is dead which leads me to believe maybe they have ideas in the autopilot arena?   AFS continues as-is from what I read.  People, location and all else to remain.

"acquired by Dynon".   I wonder what that means for the AOA product and for Tru-trak.

Things are changing rapidly.   Touch screens now available at AFS   There is no need for an expensive certified display to get the quality needed for a cockpit display. Those are available today from a number of non-certified vendors.  And they are getting better and cheaper.  As I looked at Advanced's screens I realized they were just acquired by Dynon

These guys are doing a good job using a mass market display (on the iPad), but it will always be limited, by bright daylight, compared to the much more expensive certified ($$$$) aviation displays.
