October 3‐Ground School

Jeff Edwards will conduct an all-day ground school for those currently flying their Lancairs in the Oconee/Pickens Rooms. Registration opens at 7:45 AM; the Ground School begins at 8:30 and continues until approximately 5:00 PM with a lunch break and morning/afternoon breaks.  Pre-registration and payment are required to attend.  Click here for more details, registration and payment. Price is inclusive of all materials and lunch for all the ground school.

Bob Pastusek will conduct a half-day ground school in the Haywood Room on Lancair First Flight and Preparation with the same registration and begin times. Bob’s group will join Jeff’s for lunch and the afternoon sessions.  Pre-registration and payment are required to attend. 

Sue Harrelson will conduct a half-day Partner-In-Command for non-flying cockpit companions in a Hospitality Suite (directions will be given at registration).   Sue’s group participants may choose to join Jeff’s for lunch and his afternoon presentations if so desired.  Pre-registration and payment are required to attend.

Optional Dinner:  At the Runway Café on the field at KGMU.  The Runway Café is preparing a special buffet dinner at 6:00 PM for everyone who wants to get their first good look at all the Lancairs parked on the ramp by that evening following the Ground Schools.   The menu:  Angus beef cheeseburgers/ BBQ Pulled Pork / Chicken Tenders with Coleslaw/Pasta salad/Baked Beans/Dessert/tea/water.  All for the nominal price of $15.00.  YOU MUST PAY CASH AT THE DOOR.  There will also be a cash bar for beer and/or wine.  PLEASE email Lisa at Lancair, lisaw@lancair.com to indicate you will attend this special buffet dinner.  As a courtesy to the Runway Café—and to make sure there is enough food—we need to provide a count at least three days prior to October 3. 

October 4

Forums begin at 8:00 AM in the Oconee/Pickens Rooms.  Event registration will open for those not already signed in at 7:15 AM.  Exhibitors will be available up in the Piedmont Ballroom from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Ladies tour of the Biltmore Estate – the van departs the Greenville Hilton at 8:00 AM[M1]  and return at 5:30 PM.  Pre-registration and payment are required in advance to attend.  All details, registration and payment are at www.lancairowners.com.

Cocktail Party in the Grand Palmetto Ballroom at 6:30 PM is included in your registration.

October 5

Forums begin at 8:00 AM in the Oconee/Pickens Rooms.  Event registration will open at 7:30 AM.  Exhibitors will be available up in the Piedmont Ballroom from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Ladies Shopping Event   The ladies may join Judy Pastusek at 8:30 AM departing from the Hilton for a personal shopping tour at Chicos in Greenville. In addition, there are many other boutique type shops in the same center.  The ladies will choose a lunch destination as well as have an opportunity to see the unique Greenville Downtown shopping area with the Reedy Falls Park at the end of Main Street.  Scheduled return to the Hilton is at 3:00 PM.

Banquet and Silent Auction begins at 6:30 PM in the Grand Palmetto ballroom included in your registration.
