I placed the pump in my plane in the back of the co-pilot seat. This has worked out great with an access panel behind the seat cushion. Batteries are in the header tank, not used for gas.

Subject: LNC2 hydraulic pump location? Any comments on locating the hyd pump over (attached) to the nose-wheel enclosure hump, are sincerely appreciated. I have good clearance between the top of the enclosure and the forward deck. Plumbing is simpler with none in the push-rod tunnel, as in original design. Access is perfect, for filling or maintenance. Maybe a CG problem, but none foreseen with my batts behind the pass seat. Thanks for any pro or con comments. Mike W.
