Bruce,

Not for the flared portion, but for the AN fittings which screw together.
i.e., the AN elbow connectors which thread into the hydraulic cylinders.
What sealant do I put on the threads?

A properly flared AN fitting will not leak. If it does it means that
the flare is damaged or the "B" nut is not tight enough. So, tighten
the nut or remake the flare. Spruce has Teflon donuts the fit over the
flare cone for those seeking a short cut.

I'm starting to install hydraulic cylinders, but still pretty far off
from permanently connecting or running anything hydraulic.

The manual recommends Recoseal (tm) and I have no idea what that is.
What
sealer are people recommending now for the AN hydraulic fittings?
Anything
I can get from say Aircraft Spruce or the like?

Thanks,

-Rob
