Last weekend Pete brought perfect weather to Ohio
for the HPAT training session. The class was much smaller than planned,
and those who could not attend missed a great opportunity. The class work
was a series of reminders and cautions, ways for us to get the most out of our
aircraft without pushing the envelope. The work airborne allowed us to
sharpen flying skills and prepare for better flying weather that is finally
arriving.
For many (most?) IV-P pilots this training is
advised or required for insurance. For the ES/ES-P pilots is is just a
darn good idea. Thanks again to Pete and Glenda for the
effort.
