Mark writes: 300 HP at 4000 RPM
450 ft lbs of torque at 2800 RPM.
Since HP is a direct function of troque and rpm even assuming that torque
remains at its maximum of 450 ft lbs all the way to 4000 rpm, which is
probably not true, then you can calculate hp at 2800 rpm to be 210hp. This is why you cannot use auto conversions without a gear box. You just
have to speed up the engine to get the hp. If you turbo charge the system
and use increasing MP to get more horsepower, you'll eventually run out of
