There are several reasons I have chosen the Engineaire V-8 over the
conventional 1940's aircraft engine. Reason #1 is I have an intimate
knowledge and confidence in small block chevys. I built many outstanding
chevy V-8's and raced each one for many years. Built and maintained
correctly, they proved to be trouble free in a punishing environment (dirt
track racing). After I learned how to build/maintain them properly, I never
blew one up again!  Reason #2 is that the Engineaire is controlled by
computer for optimum performance at any given situation (makes for a more
fuel efficient and better running longer lasting engine).  Third reason is
is that the Engineaire is "state of the art" in building techniques, alloys
and computer control. The performance of the engine should be nothing short
of stunning in any flight condition! Not to mention how much smoother, ease
of starting, cost of overhaul ect....
