Try throwing the teflon and pin in the freezer and maybe even heat the hinge. I
had a similar situation with a nyliner bearing that wouldn't fit in a Glasair
gear installation. I put the bearing and steel tube that fit inside it in the
freezer overnight and threw the AL bracket everthing was supposed to fit into in
the oven at 200 degrees. Everything fit great and when everything returned to
ambient temperature there was no binding.

So, have any of you experienced the same problem and if so, what was your
solution? Maybe I just got a piece from a bad batch, but when they advertise an
ID
and OD measurement to three decimal places, you have an expectation that this is
what they will send to you...right?
I'd much rather be at SnF than working on taxes!
