Let me suggest another unit that I recently purchased from Wayne Lanza,
Composite Design,561-664-8953. It is described in LNN issue 16, page 188.
It is rack mountable and holds the following functions.
1.    Fuel transfer auto or manual.
2.    3 graph bars for fuel level in mains and header tank.
3.    Landing gear switch and lights.

You would need Skysports probes. The header tank probe has 4 outputs. Empty,
full, high and low. The high and low stops and starts the pump/ pumps when
in auto mode.
It is my opinion a much better system than the Smart Switch since it
eliminates all the work load associated with either this or the original
design. I may misunderstand the description of the operation of the Smart
Switch, but it seems that you would have to use the timed function ( 5 min
fuel transfer ) by pushing the button for more than a sec. every so often.
There is no automatic function to maintain fuel in the header tank. I am
therefore of the opinion that Wayne's unit is superior and truly reduces the
workload and space in the panel to boot.
