Hi Lancair builders,
I finally started on my 360.  Although I purchased the $695 bracket kit,
the aileron idler arm brackets and the plate aileron outboard control horn
(AL8) came on an aluminum plate where they are traced with a maker, the two
small 3/8"R holes tapped,  and the .755 dia hole drilled and chamfered. I
made the idler arm brackets without using any power tools and they came out
almost perfect per the drawing.  My concern is that the  .755"diam. hole
seems to be too big for the bellcrank bearing retainer to be a perfect fit.
There is, at least, 3/32nds of a gap which makes it harder to center. Is
this right? The drawing calls for part #BC4W and the only thing I found are
the BC4W-10A. Also, once they are completed  I'd like to send them to be
polished and anodized. Does anybody know where I can have this done? Thanks

Claudio
