Per note by Ric Argente concerning failure of wire grip ends (Spruce #
05-16000).  What is the failure mode?  Did they fail immediately or after
service? Has anyone else experienced failure of these wire grip ends.

I have been flying with them on mixture and carb heat controls for about 125
hours with no indication of problems.  Of course it could happen tomorrow.
