Jerry,
I was advised to use Dow Corning Red RTV 736 to apply Zetex. Apply with a toothed squeegee like the ones used for laying carpets so the adhesive forms ridges. There are many ways of skinning a cat.

Jerry,

I tried Caterpillar brand Cat Cement on the recommendation of an A&P, it is for Hot and Oily environments.  It is easy to apply and has worked fine for the 30 minutes total time on our Legacy.

The question I was trying to get an answer to is how best to attach Zetex in the engine compartment so that it stays put even in high temperature areas in airflow.  Can anyone please advise?
