When I built my 320 I had heard of several people having spinner back plate
cracking problems.  It was obvious that having no bracing near the front of
the spinner was an issue so I created a "donut" out of ½" foam with 2-bid on
either side.  The donut was fit to the prop hub with a micro release and
then bonded with micro and 2-bid to the inside of the spinner.  To make the
fit a little more snug on the prop hub I put a thin layer of RTV on the
inside of the donut.  For photos of this setup check out:

with no cracks for about 240 hours now.
