Matt,
What's the difference -- cars doing 70+ on a crowded freeway, eight lanes wide, no medicals. What protection does the public have there? We're not talking airliners.
Where is it? I read it in Flying Magazine article, about 10 years ago, I think. Do you think you could find it yourself? I don't think the FAA will help you, or the flight instructors group (I'm one), or the airlines, or the military.
No replacement required.

Aviation Medicals not necessary? although the system is far from perfect, there has to be some protection for the public from airplanes overhead and passengers on board. what would you suggest to replace the current system?
where is this data on BFR's?
