Insurance, for some reason getting people to discuss what they pay for it
is like pulling teeth.
I received quote for standard 1mil etc. with 1500 hours non IFR mostly 172
some 182 time
cost for the SES fixed gear= $2800 to $3100. That was aprox. 8 months
ago.
