In the past, many of you have requested copies of my graphics of the ES. Marv has graciously offered to post them on the LML website to facilitate the distribution. I am sending several file formats of the top view and the side view (with logo) to him for posting. All of them are vector-based, ie. they can be scaled (to actual size if you have a big enough plotter ;-))  ) without distortion or pixellation. They were hand traced and smoothed to vector format in Corel Draw from scans (bitmap) of the factory blueprints. Several "style" changes were made, most notably on the wheel pants. The original drawings seemed too fat and "not Elegant Simplicity".

Most seem to want them for doing paint schemes. A draw program such as Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw is best for this because you can use layers with fairly accurate coloring to do any number of schemes. I use CorelDraw v 9.0 and one set of the files being posted is in this format (.cdr).

Most "draw" programs can pull in encapsulated postscript files (.eps) with good fidelity. Other programs, such as MS Word, can import them as picture files and they are better quality than .wmf files. You can also scale them in MS Word. One set of files is being posted in .eps format.

Another set is in .pdf

Finally, for those who have CAD programs, the standard interface file format for these is .dxf. A set of these is also being posted. They were originally exported in .dxf from Corel Draw, imported into AutoCAD LT2000 and saved as .dxf. Some detail was not translated, such as the color of the tires, the shading of the prop and spinner and the coloring of the logo. However, they scale normally and plot/print almost as good as they do in their native .cdr.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

John
