I've got electronic ignition and electronic fuel injection. It took a lot
of work, but now it is wonderful. No mixture, starts immediately whether
hot or cold, and excellent fuel economy. I've got about 300 hours on the
system and the only problems I have had are the failure of timing pickup
sensors. There are dual sensors for redundancy, but it still gets you
attention. The manufacturer of the sensors has changed the product
(supposedly improved) and I have not had a sensor fail in over 100 hours
now.
Everything said, would I do this again? No. WAY too much work. But now I
am thrilled.
