To the best of my knowledge and experience, you should not have any problems storing your canopy.  I would suggest it resides in an environment with as constant of a temperature as possible and place it in a plastic bag with a couple dessicant packs to absorb most of the moisture that is trapped in the bag.  These dessicant packs can be acquired through most any company that sells automotive storage covers/shelters. Even though Lancair has already post-cured your kit components, I also suggest that when the time comes for your your final body work that you try to place the aircraft, as fully assembled as possible and with everything latched and attached (with exception of flight controls and gear doors), in as direct of sunlight as possible for a day or two.  This will allow the airframe and all of its components to "set" to one another and retard appearance of the fiberglass weave from showing through your body work and paint.  Once this "set" has occurred, any expansion or contraction of the airframe and its components will be practically undetecable.
