Rick,

I replaced my first set of brake linings with the Cleveland P/N 66-106
pads.  The pads themselves will rivet right onto the Matco brake assembly.
However, the pads come with the wrong sized rivets for the Matco
installation.  You'll need the 4-6 sized rivet -  AC Spruce cat. no. P/N
06-02300 @ $0.05/ea.  (The pads come with 4-4 rivets).  Twelve rivets are
needed for the job, but get more  Also needed is a riveting tool.  ACS P/N
824 works fine and is relatively inexpensive - $16.00.

The Cleveland brake pads seem to work a little better.  They seem to exhibit
less brake fade.  How they'll wear is still an open question.  I can't
comment on the chipping problem that you have.

Hal
