Mea Culpa, I've forgotten what the IDs for the LIV and the LES are and
have violated a rule by not applying them to the title line.
Anyway, my question is... "How much force is required to deflect the
joystick in the pitch direction?" I've just installed my joysticks into
the aileron torque tubes and it seems to take an inordinate amount of
force to deflect the joystick even without the elevator attached. My
concern is that this force gets multiplied by two when the hardware is
installed as the other joystick will then contribute to the force
required. It also seemed to me that the amount I had to force the torque
tube open to get the joystick in was quite a lot, about 1/16". Any
comments?

[Pat... using LIV or LES as a designator for those aircraft when posting
is fine. We just find that using the LNC2 for the 2-seaters is an all-
encompassing designator for them, and announces the post as being aimed
in their direction. No 'mea culpa's required. <Marv> ]
