About 7 psi when it blew the hose off MAP was approaching 44.

Did you ever get a full throttle boost reading?
No. I can't get full throttle on the ground, even with the wastegate open.
That's why I've been blowing the hoses off in the climb. The only place I
can test it. I haven't tried closing the wastegate for takeoff yet. And no -
I'm not about to tie this sucker to a tree. In Oregon, maybe. In Florida, no
way. :)

I thought I told you not to break my old turbo.
I'm not breaking it. I'm blowing it.

How many rpm's do you think it's turning when you unload the output?
Dunno. Lots. What? - do I need a turbo tach?

It's not a big pucker factor when it happens.
I should have said - it's not a pucker factor when it happens the second
time. :)

John (climbing just fine to 800 feet)
