Bill - Rusty; One last comment on the Pinto
engine, it was a real Corvette eater up to 50mph, don't know if they were more
impressed with getting behind or the fact that the front wheels were two feet
off the ground. Just having a little street fun. Will have the
Tailwind covered and painted in the next week and will get started on the final
installation of the 13B. Have had it installed to check location, but have
not done any of the hookup yet. JohnD

put a turbo-charged, EFI Subaru engine in a 1966 Karmann Ghia. That is 145 HP
in a 1700 lb car. Definitely an upgrade. =:^O The conversion was very
successful. You can see why I am not overly hesitant to put a rotary in an
airplane. Geez, there are even store-bought conversion parts.
I will
second the point that you must have a bleed at the highest point in the
system. It is best if this bleed is connected to the purge
tank.
