Subject: [FlyRotary] Just landed, plane reusable. Well, it took several months and countless frustrations following an
engine out a while back; but I flew my N/A 13b powered Velocity SE
today. Just one circuit at Pearland Municipal -LVJ (formerly Clover
Field). I have yet to notice any squawks and the engine seemed smooth and
responsive. I had to coursen the IVO in-flight adjustable prop a bit as
I noted engine speed a bit over 6500 rpm and prop kissing 2800 (not sure
the exact corresponding numbers hoe the two cuz when I saw 6500, I
throttled back and then noticed the high prop speed on the Dynon
SkyView. I need to down load the Dynon data log and see what I may have missed. I figured some of y'all may be curios. All the best,
