So when the MP gauge reads 45" that is referenced then to a vacuum.
So 45" Hg = 22.1psi - 14.7psi = 7.4psi
That makes more sense.
Can anyone comment on Q2. in my previous post?

I think not, Steve. According to my calculations that equates to about
7.5 PSI of boost.
