It seems to me to be the next step in evolution. But it may be that it is for economy rather than power, and not worth it for aircraft but required for a car engine.

I was wondering if anyone had given a thought to mounting a fuel injector in the top of the rotor housing like the 16b concept engine?
They may never get around to selling the 16b to the public, but we could mod a 13b?
It can't be any tougher than a P Port job? Anyway, it would get the fuel system a little farther from the exhaust heat, and could run better too?
